Kathmandu: Former Ambassador to Denmark, Vijay Kant Karna, who is also the Executive Chairperson of the Center for Social Innovation and Foreign Policy (CESIF), met with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, on September 23.
During the meeting, the two exchanged views on the prospect of bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for regional collaboration between Nepal and Bangladesh.
According to the release by the Embassy of Bangladesh, former Amb. Karna is scheduled to visit Dhaka from October 5 to 7, 2025, to attend the Regional Infrastructure Monitoring Alliance (RIMA) conference in Gulshan-2.
