Kathmandu: The Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal, hosted a special dinner to honor their continued partnership and shared commitment to promoting women’s entrepreneurship in Nepal on 20 November.
During the event, FWEAN President Shova Gyawali expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the organization and presented a token of love to Ambassador Abrar H. Hashmi. She acknowledged the Embassy’s consistent support in empowering women entrepreneurs, through chapter expansions as well as national and international conclaves that have advanced women’s entrepreneurship development across the country. Moreover, FWEAN expressed hope for continued collaboration in the future.
The FWEAN delegation, led by President Gyawali, included 1st Vice President Darshana Shrestha, 2nd Vice President Sunita Vaidya Shrestha, 3rd Vice President Basanti Pradhan, 4th Vice President Mahalaxmi Shrestha, General Secretary Kunnam Pokharel, Secretary Sumitra Palanchoke, Treasurer Sabita Subedi, and Executive Director Abhilasha Poudel.
In a social media post, FWEAN added, “We extend our deepest gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Abrar H. Hashmi and Her Excellency Ms. Samiya Abrar for their warm hospitality and for hosting this meaningful gathering.”
