Kathmandu: It is said that Nepal can create 3 million new jobs in the next 10 years through health tourism. Life science co-founder and life development expert L. P. Bhanu Sharma said that Nepal can give the world not only mountains and natural beauty but also its unique spiritual knowledge and philosophy of life.
Addressing the program, Guru L. P. Bhanu Sharma said that on the proposal of Nepal and other countries, the United Nations has started celebrating April 15 as World Health Day every year and Nepal should lead it. He expressed that yoga, meditation, spirituality, mindfulness, natural health system and conscious lifestyle based on Nepal’s Himalayan tradition can be developed as the basis of global health. He said that such assets can establish Nepal as a destination for world-class wellness, internal transformation and overall prosperity.
“The world community should be invited not only to see Nepal, but also to experience Nepal, We all need to collaborate to bring Nepal’s nature, knowledge, healing traditions and lifestyle to the world.”he said.
Advancing the concept of ‘Himalayan Wisdom, Global Wellbeing’, he mentioned that Nepal’s health tradition is not only our cultural heritage but also a priceless gift to the world.
During the program, the participants were also made to practice ‘Self-Awakening Meditation’. After a short meditation practice, many participants shared their experience of feeling peace of mind, awareness of the present moment, and positive energy. According to the organizers, it conveys the message that meditation is not just a theoretical subject but a practice that can be directly experienced.
Bipin Duwadi, Nepal’s Acting Ambassador to the UK, expressed his gratitude to Guru Sharma and said that the Nepalese government has prioritized the promotion of health tourism. He expressed his belief that such programs will contribute significantly to promote the spiritual, cultural and natural heritage of Nepal at the international level.
In the program, there was an interactive discussion among the participants about the relationship between self-awareness, mental and physical health, inner transformation and prosperity. Participants said that the program has revealed new possibilities of health tourism by connecting Nepal’s yoga, meditation, spirituality and natural health traditions with the world
