Kathmandu: Nepal concluded its historic Presidency of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), successfully completing the first-ever leadership of a principal organ of the United Nations in our nation’s history on July 24.
Throughout the Presidency, Nepal remained committed to fostering dialogue, building consensus, and advancing sustainable development through effective multilateral cooperation.
Nepal Mission to the UN congratulated H.E. Ambassador Amar Bendjama of Algeria on assuming the Presidency and wished him every success as he leads the Council in the year ahead.
