Kathmandu: Nepal has reached another milestone in multilateral diplomacy after being elected a member of the executive board of the WHO. According to the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, Nepal was elected as a Member of the Executive Board of the WHO for a three-year term (2025–2028) by the 78th World Health Assembly.
The Nepali delegation team was led by Minister for Heath and Population Pradip Paudel. This is good news for Nepal to get a chance to serve in the executive board of WHO.
