Kathmandu: Over three days, UN Nepali peacekeepers patrolled the Juba-liria-lokiliri route in Central Equatoria, South Sudan engaging government officials, military, police, and community leaders to assess the security situation and strengthen civilian protection.
The patrol fostered closer collaboration with local authorities, identified key security and humanitarian concerns, and reaffirmed the mission’s commitment to preventing conflict and advancing lasting peace and stability.
