Morang: Assistant Director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Nepal, Arno Wicki, paid a courtesy call on Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki on November 10.
According to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation and Switzerland’s continued assistance in strengthening federalism in Nepal.
Chief Minister Karki expressed appreciation for Switzerland’s long-standing support in Nepal’s peace, prosperity, and development initiatives. He also highlighted climate change as a pressing issue that requires collaborative efforts between the two nations.
In response, Assistant Director Wicki noted that Koshi Province holds immense potential for tourism and overall development. He emphasized that collective efforts could further advance Nepal’s democratic journey.
