Speaker Ghimire Addresses 6th World Conference of Speakers in Geneva

Kathmandu: Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire addressed the 6th World Conference of Speakers on July 30, emphasizing the need for stronger inter-parliamentary and multilateral cooperation to build a peaceful, prosperous, just, and humane world for all.

On the sidelines of the conference, Speaker Ghimire held separate meetings with. Maja Riniker, President of the National Council of Switzerland; Verona Murphy, Chairperson of Dáil Éireann of Ireland; Lungten Dorji, Speaker of the National Assembly of Bhutan; and Dr. Tulia Ackson, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. 

The discussions focused on enhancing parliamentary collaboration and strengthening bilateral ties.
