Kathmandu: UNDP, in partnership with the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs, and General Administrations (MoLCFAGA), had supported Uttargaya and Gosainkunda Rural Municipalities with essential equipment, furniture and supplies to help local governments resume their day-to-day functions and continue serving their communities.
The support marked an important step from immediate response towards longer-term recovery and resilient local governance.
UNDP Nepal stated that they stand with the Government of Nepal and the local communities as they recover, rebuild and strengthen institutions that are essential to delivering services when they are needed most
