An Evening of Diplomacy and Friendship

The International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD) and Ambassadors Club hosted a special evening titled “An Evening of Diplomacy and Friendship” at their office in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu, on May 4, 2025. The event served as a unique platform to celebrate diplomatic ties, foster connections, and engage in meaningful dialogue on Nepal’s foreign affairs and global positioning.

Graced by an esteemed lineup of guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, the evening brought together senior officials and diplomats for an informal yet insightful gathering. Among the notable attendees were Joint Secretaries Pushpa Raj Bhattarai, Ambassador Gehendra Rajbhandari, Durapada Sapkota, Roshan Khanal, Ambassador Tapas Adhikari, Rojina Tamrakar, Ambassador Ganesh Dhakal, and Kumar Kharel. Also present were Ambassador Kali Prasad Pokhrel and Bimal Dhakal, publisher of The Diplomat Nepal magazine.

Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, the President of both the IRGDD and the Ambassadors Club, welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of sustained dialogue and collaborative spaces to advance Nepal’s diplomatic engagements.
