Nepali Army Holds Photo and Grand Exhibition 2082 at Army Headquarters

Kathmandu :On the occasion of Army Day, the Nepali Army Photo and Grand Exhibition 2082 has commenced at the Army Headquarters. The exhibition, which opened on January 20, will continue until 21st January.

Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) General Ashok Raj Sigdel inaugurated the exhibition amid a special function and also inspected the photo displays.

The exhibition features a wide range of photographs depicting the activities of the Nepali Army from the past to the present. It also showcases historical weapons, military equipment, and displays highlighting the diverse roles performed by the Army. Additional sections include exhibits on military uniforms, the military band, army aviation services, cavalry, national parks and wildlife reserves, peacekeeping missions, development and construction works, disaster management, sports, the National Cadet Service, military schools, and other key areas of engagement.

Organized with the objective of allowing the general public to closely observe and understand the multifaceted activities of the Nepali Army, the exhibition is open to visitors free of charge through the western gate of the Army Headquarters. Visiting hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Magh 4, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Magh 5 to Magh 7.

The Nepali Army has expressed confidence that the exhibition will help the general public, including students at various levels, gain deeper insight into the institution’s wide-ranging responsibilities and contributions.
