Kathmandu: H.E. Fahd bin Mohammad bin Mnikhr, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at the Ministry on July 22.
During the call on, they discussed matters of mutual interest, including strengthening Nepal–Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, promoting labour mobility for mutual benefit, enhancing economic and investment partnerships, and supporting each other’s candidatures at the UN and other international organizations.
The discussion also dwelt on the evolving situation in West Asia, including the importance of ensuring unhindered maritime passage through the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.
