Kathmandu: H.E. Fahd Mohammad A. Mnikhr, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, held a courtesy meeting with Hon. Nisha Mehta, Minister for Health and Food Safety, on September 17.
During the meeting, Nepal-Saudi Arabia relations, mutual cooperation, and possible cooperation in the health sector were discussed. The ambassador expressed the solidarity of the Government of Saudi Arabia for the damage caused by the Bhotekoshi flood and expressed his commitment to advance the areas of necessary assistance with high priority.
Health Minister Mehta stressed that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Saudi Arabia, which is being celebrated this year, should be expanded to the public level as well.
