Kathmandu: FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal, Ken Shimizu, met with Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta to discuss strengthening collaboration on youth-focused development initiatives.
During the meeting, FAO reaffirmed its commitment to empowering young people in Nepal through innovation, digital skills, and green job opportunities. Both sides explored potential joint actions to promote youth agri-entrepreneurship and climate-smart agriculture.
The discussion underscored the importance of strong partnerships to expand opportunities for Nepal’s youth, particularly within the agriculture sector.
