Kathmandu: Hon. Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Volker Turk, High Commissioner for Human Rights at United Nations Headquarters on the margins of UNGA81.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters pertaining to Nepal’s nationally-owned and led peace process, interlinkages between development and human rights and the devastating impacts of intensifying climate change including the ongoing recovery and reconstruction efforts following the Bhotekoshi disaster in Nepal.
