Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Shisir Khanal, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Nepal, H. E. Aleksei Vladimirovich Surovtsev, at the Ministry on June 30.
Various matters related to Nepal-Russia relations, including the celebrations of 70 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties and issues of the Nepali nationals in the Russian Army, were discussed during the meeting. The Embassy stated that they are grateful to Minister Khanal for his attention to the proposals of the Russian side. In turn, the diplomatic mission will report to the Russian leadership on the issues raised by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal.
