Kathmandu: On June 1, 2026, Nepal’s Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr Khadak Raj Paudel, received His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and presented him with a certificate recognizing his achievement of reaching the summit of Mount Everest. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Fahd bin Mohammed bin Mnikhr and Member of the House of Representatives Mr. Mingma David Sherpa.
The Minister praised His Royal Highness’s expedition, noting that it would have a positive impact on tourism cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Nepal. Ambassador Fahd bin Mohammed bin Mnikhr expressed his appreciation to the Minister for presenting the certificate to His Royal Highness.
