Kathmandu: The Republic of Korea celebrated the National Day. Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav attended a reception ceremony held in Kathmandu on November 12.
In his remarks, Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Tae-young highlighted Korea’s ongoing cooperation with Nepal in advancing sustainable development and shared prosperity. He said that Nepal holds immense potential in areas such as hydropower, cultural heritage, and human resources, and reaffirmed Korea’s commitment to supporting these priority sectors.
The event also featured performances showcasing Korean culture, adding a festive touch to the celebration.
The reception was attended by senior government officials, heads of diplomatic missions, business leaders, media representatives, and members of the Korean community residing in Nepal.
