UNFPA Nepal Deputy Representative discusses SRHR and GBV

Kathmandu: At the beginning of June, UNFPA Nepal Deputy Representative Bashir Najeeb visited the office that is located on the Yonsei campus.

As Nepal and the Republic of Korea continue to deepen their longstanding partnership through development cooperation, economic engagement, and people-to-people exchanges, the visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration and share experiences across the programmes.

During the visit, updates on the progress and prospects of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights ( SRHR) and Gender based violence (GBV) programmes/projects, while exploring new opportunities and ideas for collaboration through private sector partnerships was exchanged.

These valuable discussions foster innovative approaches that advance our shared mission to promote SRHR, eliminate GBV, and strengthen demographic resilience.
