Kathmandu: Following the tragic floods in Nepal, the United States has been assisting Americans in locating their loved ones and supporting Nepal’s Forensic identification efforts.
According to the US Embassy in Nepal, at the request of the Government of Nepal,.U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations forensic specialists are working alongside Nepal Police to train and assist officers in fingerprint collection and analytical techniques to support disaster victim identification.
FBI’s world-class expertise in forensics and standards of accuracy will help provide answers to families of Americans and all those affected by the tragedy, the embassy said.
