Kathmandu: UN ECOSOC President Lok Bahadur Thapa met with H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Head of Delegation to the HLPF Ministerial Segment on July 18 .
President Thapa and Advisor Srisamoot discussed Thailand’s strong leadership on the SDGs, the value of data-driven and inclusive implementation, advancing sustainable development financing through the Sevilla Commitment, harnessing science, technology and AI for sustainable development, and maintaining momentum following the adoption of the 2026 HLPF Ministerial Declaration as they work toward an ambitious and action-oriented SDGs Summit 2027.
